I am a retired periodontist, having practiced in Roanoke for 42 years. I have been involved with photography for 50 years and have been showing professionally since 1999. I work primarily in color images but also do lots of "black and white. Most of my images involve somewhat different views of rather ordinary things, possibly a different perspective or a detail that may not have been noticed. I have won numerous awards at local and national shows and did all the photography at the renovated Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, Virginia.
