I have a lifelong passion for working with the color and texture of fiber. The wide variety in the color, size and texture of yarn, provide wonderful opportunities to create beautiful and surprising effects. I create one-of-a-kind pieces and hope you notice the use of color and texture throughout the work.

I started my study of textiles at Iowa State University and, what seems like a lifetime later, apprenticed at Springwater Fiber Arts School in Old Town Alexandria, VA. It was love at the first throw of the shuttle! I continue my studies through workshops and participation in the Handweavers Guild of America, the Mid-Atlantic Fiber Association, the Handweavers Guild of the New River Valley and the Roanoke Weaving Study Group.

I'm published in Handwoven Magazine, the international periodical for handweavers.

My work is sold locally at Left of Center Art Space at 24 Campbell Avenue in the old Woolworth Building in downtown Roanoke and at Troika Contemporary Crafts at 203 S. Locust St. Floyd, VA. I also sell on Etsy and teach weaving and dyeing.
