I am Kim Paderick of Two Star Pony Studio located in Fincastle, VA. I have an attachment to old, damaged, forgotten & discarded objects. I use these cast offs coupled with components I create in my work. My creations have been labeled as narrative or vintage assemblage with a touch extra. I use a multitude of techniques/ mediums such as resin, metalsmithing, polymer clay, and stained glass. From romantic to ethnic, my work ranges among time periods & moods with moxie. In my world, jewelry is the most public of all art forms & it is uniquely positioned to reach an extensive audience. My process is a quest to find a way to bring together my chosen elements & birth a cohesive whole that tells a new story.
