Non Objective / Abstract Expressionist Art has always fascinated me. The how, what and why a flat panel is transformed from its natural texture and color (canvas, wood, paper metal, etc.) to become an art piece as a result of artistic application of unlimited types materials and media. Every intensional or unintentional action of the artist’s mark making is put to work to produce an image without representation of anything (natural or created) that is recognizable. The artwork is a fascinating translation of the interests and intuition of the artist… and as far as I have discovered, anything goes.

I am in the final stretch of my 40 + years as a commercial photographer and graphic designer. Through the tools of my trade, I have been able to invent / create presentations every day. Along the way I, like almost everyone in this profession, became very familiar and adept with cameras, computers, scanners and the dozens of software applications essential to the profession. I still enjoy and always will, the use of these machines for my trade but now am including the creation of works one could label as art rather than commercial art.
